HP Introduces the World’s Most Advanced Digital Labels and Packaging Portfolio

PALO ALTO, Calif., – February 20, 2018 — Today, HP Inc. expanded its labels and packaging portfolio with solutions to drive the printing and converting toward more flexible, productive and profitable digital printing of any application. New solutions include the HP Indigo 6900 Digital Press for labels and packaging and HP PageWide C500 Press for mainstream corrugated production.

The High Definition Imaging System for the B2-sized HP Indigo 12000 HD Digital Press doubles image resolution, delivering sharper, smoother, finer print, enabling print service providers (PSPs) to surpass offset quality and open new digital possibilities in high-end commercial and photo applications. The press uses an all-new High Definition Imaging System, using 48 parallel laser beams and high screen sets up to 290 LPI.

Meet our employee, Katherine Bauer

Hometown: Bloomfield Hills, MI (Metro Detroit)

Tell us a little about yourself: I moved to Virginia with my husband and our dog, Blue in 2013.  Since moving here, I have been told I have an accent (which I still don’t believe) and often get asked if I am from Minnesota.  I have a twin brother that is 13 minutes older than me.  I am a huge hockey fan and a diehard Red Wings fan.  My husband and I enjoy camping from early spring to late fall.

What do you like most about working at UBT: What I like most about working at UBT is how much I have grown personally, as well as professionally.  I have enjoyed the challenges and rewards of working in several facets of the company: reception, finance, product trainer and now project manager.  I have learned so much about UBT and have made many friends along the way.  I am grateful for the opportunity to expand my knowledge and increase my skillset.

Interesting Fact: I can start a campfire with just one match and birch bark thanks to working as a Camp Counselor during my summer breaks while in college.

Tell us a little about yourself: I graduated from WVU in 2016 with a degree in Information Systems and started working at UBT the month after. I just moved to Virginia and am enjoying being minutes from DC. I love to keep a busy schedule filled with trips and events planned with friends and family.
